At Alpha Pods, we are constantly innovating so that we can offer you the latest automotive trends and enhance your car experience.​ Our mission is to create high-quality automotive car parts at cost-effective prices, so that everyone can enjoy the ultimate car experience.
For a while now, we have struggled with shipping splitters nationally within the UK at a reasonable price due to the astronomical shipping increases since covid. Pre-covid we could ship splitters at a reasonable £13 per splitter.
Now, due to Parcelforce introducing their large parcel service and many other couriers imposing size restrictions, this cost has climbed to an eye-watering £37 per splitter.

It’s simply not sustainable for us as a company to absorb this cost. Nor can we expect our customers to pay this horrendous charge, given that the cost of a splitter is typically only around £100-£150.

Our new 2-piece splitter design thoughtfully overcomes this problem and helps to alleviate the high shipping costs, while still retaining Alpha Pods’ high quality.

The 2-piece design also offers an array of additional benefits:

Reduced breakage
It’s a smaller item and the 2 sections can be packed and shipped back-to-back, giving twice the strength and thickness, reducing breakages.

The 2-piece design means we can ship internationally
The predecessors’ large size meant that it was sometimes difficult to ship abroad from the UK. This is because some countries have size restrictions so that parcels can pass through x-ray machines easily. The new design means that we can now ship internationally, giving our customers more choice than ever before.

Easier and cheaper to replace sections, when needed
Replacement sections will be available individually. Should you damage a section, you don’t have the cost of an entire new splitter.

Reduced packaging is better for the environment
Globally, our focus is for a sustainable and greener environment so that future generations can enjoy our world. The reduced packaging needed to ship our 2-piece design is better for the environment.
If, for any reason, you still prefer our one-piece splitters, you can still buy our present models at an increased price which take into consideration the higher shipping costs.
Going forward, any new splitters we develop will be in 2 sections and will not be available in a single piece.
